I have a question: I bought by mistake the "MSI Adapter Prozessor Slot 1 6905 v. 1.1"

It cannot support Coppermine CPUs?
Maybe there is some mod?
Soldering can help?

I m curious: if it does not support Coppermine P3, what kind of S 370 CPU does it support?
I cannot remember that there were any P3 Katmai for the S 370, weren't they?

Thx for replying!

Seem to recall it does support coppermines but, as it lacks the voltage clamp of the v2.x slotkets, you're reliant on the vrm chip on your motherboard to deliver - which are you hoping to use?

Before Coppermine, the Celeron was released in socket 370 (the 300A up to 533) on Mendocino core. Coppermine and Coppermine based Celeron (533A up) was same socket but fcpga packaged. Where as the Mendocino was PPGA

If it's dual it's kind of cool ... 😎

The voltage clamp IC is not related to the VRM in any way - the VRM voltage is set either by jumpers or directly by the processor.
A voltage clamp (e.g., TVC16222A) supposedly equalizes the Tualatin signal levels of some lines to (suppositive) 440BX .
Who installed this on the adapters, and more importantly, why, remains a mystery.
It seems they started installing it to give Slotket a touch of prestige and branding.
Tualatin has been working with adapters and boards that don't have it for 25 years without any problems.
So, this is essentially an indirect sign of SlotKet is Tualatin's support, and that's all.
