The MTMCDS.SYS line needs to be in config.sys

the MSCDEX.EXE line in autoexec.bat

so i remove this line in the autoexec DEVICE=C:\DEV\MTMCDS.SYS /D:MSCD001

you used the wrong path for mscdex.exe in autoexec.bat

You made an error in the config.sys by trying to do this :
DEVICEHIGH=C:\BIN\MSCDEX.EX /D:MSCD001 /M:10

it should be this :

DEVICE=C:\DEV\MTMCDS.SYS /D:MSCD001 <<< ? wrong or correct

Last line should be

C:\BIN\MSCDEX.EX /D:MSCD001

BIN !!!

oke its working now but what i dont understand is you guys told me the drivers are in the dev folder and not bin
so to me it makes sense to add them to the auto and the config files ?
but what is the bin folder ?

MSCDEX.EX < this file is not the mistumi driver or is it ?
what does the config program do load the drivers ?
and the autoexec ?
