I've seen necroware spray something he calls contact cleaner into his slots (pci, slot 1, etc.). I'm not sure what it is or where to buy it, but it might help if you keep running into the issue of having to unplug/replug a few times to get a good contact.

I use the WD-40 electronic contact cleaner. It works very well.
