Hello everyone, also my first post and long time viewer.

I picked up a compaq 486 66M sold to me as a working pc however on power up i could instantly smell burning capacitor smell. I have removed all caps and they are on order although the STR81145 switch module doubler had its lid blown off (U11) bottom right corner attached to the big heatsink. have a new one on order but the diode CR30 was also burnt to a crisp so bad that i cant read the part number on it would anyone be able to help?

at a guess looks like a standard 1N5004 type diode but any confirmation would be muchly appreciated thanks
