There is still another issue, the game crashes back to desktop after a short time (about 3-8min) of playing. I dont know why!

Any messages in the Glidos window? Which version of Glidos?
Nothing unusual:
Starting Glide Server v1.32 (c) Paul Gardiner 2001-2004
Resolution = 800x600
Refresh rate = 60Hz
Color format = ABGR
Number of color buffers = 2
Number of aux buffers = 0
WinClose
GlideShutdown
Thread seems dead , but just FYI
I'm getting the same problem.
Crashes after same amount of time, another wierd thing to note is that I finally had it running right with Plasma Pak, now It's back to not letting me choose the post mortem chapter.
Do you get this delayed crash with any other game running under Glidos?

3Dfx version of Blood seems to suffer from memory leaks. Just trace it via the task manager. Blood's NTVDM is using up more and more memory. I think that when it reaches an upper limit (64MB or so), the DPMI can't allocate (or don't allocate) more memory and Blood just exits without any message. (Don't know, but might worth a trying to raise DPMI memory limit in the properties of DOS to prolong the time you can play 😀 )
Don't forget, 3DFx Blood is just an ALPHA version, AFAIK at least. It's not perfected, that's why some annoying things are present like vertical strips of the walls (altough Glidos recovers this 😀 ), memory leaks, etc.
That sort of makes sense, but doesn't explain how some people can
run it for ages without a crash. Most people's settings for DOS stuff are likely to be identical.
I still say it is worth testing Glidos with another game.
