And the weird stuff just keeps coming...
I love how the perspective it so skewed on the box cover. 🤣

I always loved this case with those leds at the top. Very cool look IMO.

True... Space is one major key factor. Hmmm... You have an a1200? I only have an a600, yet I fear a 1200 will not be used as much, because I tend to play a500 games only.

This on not old hardware, yet modern hardware to play old games on. Super cheap...
My son loves space invaders and pacman best of all vintage games, so this is indeed a present that he will enjoy.
As this is a really cheap device, it will be both of my cats present for him.
He loves those animals, so it is about time they "give back" for all the respect and love he has shown them.
It is one of these in this video here below...

Hah those XPS boxes were really cool! Too bad they're BTX and require a ton of work to convert to ATX.

I just bought an Orla Micro Partner GM sound module for a very low price.
Anyone know anything about them? I found a thread here from 8 years ago and no one knew anything about them then.
Re: Orla Micro Partner General MIDI sound module
Looks like a nice compact unit.
Finally managed to score a Dell 2001fp off a local site, 1600x1200 pixels of glory. Of course the first thing I threw at it was my favourite monitor torture test.
It's really nice for a 2003 LCD, great viewing angle & nice vibrant color all across the panel with no variations. It'll go into a spot where I need to switch between DVI, VGA & S-video a lot so it's perfect. Now I just need a second one so I can run the Mac Mini at 3200x1200. 😜
^^ here it is coping with a notorious LCD logic bomb like a super-pro. I'd estimate 90% of modern displays will throw a hissy fit at this. I'm gonna have to hit it with the rest of the testing suite & see how it does.

My favorite LCD for retro machines. Have both: 2001fp and 2007fp.
20", standing pad with 90degree rotation, 4×3, 1600x1200, ips, 4 selectable inpit: dvi/vga/svideo/composite.

^^ Gotta ask, if you put a 2001fp & 2007fp next to each other in dual-head configuration, do they look good? Like, do the sizes of the bezel & screen dimensions match up? I definitely want to get a second one.

Does that monitor handle 75hz ok?

You are right, that is why I will be looking for the next one to come in so I can have spare parts. I just couldnt let this go to scrap since it is a working machine. I also didn't have a 60lb PC with LED lights and everyone should own something this gaudy.

I use custom monitor arm, to free some space on desk, so, not shure about height, but yes, both looks good while standing side to side, when i use them with modern pc.

This is an HP Visualize FX+ (the + is the texture addon card above the heat sink). I'm not sure which version it is, but it's a pretty neat workstation card. It was made for the HP workstations, and HP still have drivers for it on their site. It will probably work in non-HP systems.
