I checked the CPUid and the C3 Nehemiah 1200 only support SSE.
Because this CPU was released after DX7 maybe it is not detecting/using SSE?

DOS/98SE : PIII-1000/C3-1200, GA-6BXC 2.0, 256MB PC133 C2, GeForce 2 Ultra, Voodoo2 12MB, Audigy2 ZS, ESS1688, SSD 128GB

XP/7 : i5 3750k, 8GB DDR3 1600, GTX 280 1GB, Radeon X1950 XTX, SSD 512GB

In a benchmark video you posted a few years back, titled "Asus P5A & AMD K6-3+ 570 OC @ 633 MHz Benchmark (with GeForce2 MX400)" https://youtu.be/w5x79oP_vks?si=1IZhR-EJ5QwYAwo7&t=750, you got Expendable to show the "Optimized For AMD 3DNow!" logo, when starting the game.
How did you do that???

I got the same CPU and GPU, and it doesn't show it (leading me to think that the game is not enabling 3DNow! for me)
I'm using Win98SE, and nVidia drivers v8.05, on a VIA MVP3 chipset mobo... in case that matters.

Expendable always displays that logo when running on a CPU that supports 3DNow! instructions, however it only displays it at 640 x 480, IIRC.
So, if you're running your benchmarks at higher resolutions it will show a black screen instead.

God bless you! You just saved me a windows reinstall!

Indeed, for some reason, only 16bpp resolutions display that logo (which I usually always avoid)

Thank you!
