Thank you so much. I do truly hope I can find this case some day. I am so excited to even have pictures of it that I hope buy one soon.

My friend found this site with even more pictures of this case style. Here they are

Yeah, I am thinking about closing the hole by welding, rercreate the sidepanels and put paint on it. Nice computer white 😁
BTW: The inner chassis is nickel plated. It shines like a cylone warrior:

I love this one from 1993/1994. It was the first one I ever owned.

A couple of my favorite retro towers from 1998-ish; Supermicro SC801. One is AT the other is ATX. Neither have builds in them yet.

If you tolerate this, then your children will be next.

anyone know much about this case? This is taken from a video from Necroware. This looks to be the desktop version of the mini tower case I had for my first PC. Unfortunately, my dad threw that machine away and since then I have spent forever looking for the same case. The case I had for my pc was from 1991/1992. I'm including a picture of the badge that was on my case. We bought that computer from a Taiwanese computer place in City of Industry, ca. It was called "golden everstar"

*Thank you* for posting that Golden Everstar logo, I've been looking for it for years and even dove into newspaper archives to try to find it. If you have any more shots of anything GES related feel free to share them. I went ahead and recreated the logo for a little project I'm working on, attached it here below.

It'd be fun if people shared other square logos of the computer stores where these came from.

Also attached: two photos of full AT towers my brother and I got from Golden Everstar (GES) in 1991, and a 90s minitower I have of the same 'teeth and grill' style from Business Computer Center in Beverly Hills.

Holy crap! You must be the only other person on the planet that has thought about GES in the last 30 years! I also spent a ton of time going through computer shoppers page by page looking for my old case!

I got a couple screen caps from their ads, but sadly I can only find one. I think I came across 3. I also have the original invoice from when we got our PC from them. And Lastly a pic of another case they sold.

I'll attach them here.

Thanks for recreating the logo! The badge I have was so crappily made, I cannot remove it without destroying it.

One thing the gold on the original label was slightly sparkly.

By chance chance, would you happen to have the old case I posted about up a few posts from GES?

Are you local to so cal?

I'm in SF these days, was in santa monica in youth. Here's the ads I compiled from 1990-1991. Prices were dropping like crazy then. Seems GES was founded in Apr 1990 and went until 1995, it really was a business of its particular time as clones were really starting to gain traction around then. If you have the invoice it'd be fun to see, I wonder if mine is somewhere in my parents stuff. I wound up with a 386dx/33 4mb/80mb with trident 1mb video and super speedy 2400 baud modem which drew me into the BBS world. I think a few months later I picked up the og soundblaster from them. Those were the days!

Attached is a mockup of that case I just showed you that I've been building by hand for a BBS homage game I'm working on. Added a touch of gold sparkles, tho you have to move the virtual light around to see them.

I don't have your case unfortunately, I hope you're able to find it!

I never seen that logo before but that was my first computer case back in 1993.
It was for my 486dx-33 computer.

I bought it from a computer component store in San Jose , California ( Silicon Valley )
It was an inexpensive case being sold for about $40 with power supply.
It’s hard to find today.
It was nice because it was small mini tower case but lacked lot of hard drive mounts and front drive bays.
A larger case with better cooling and more drive bays might be a better option .
It was also hard to work in from what I remember.

I think this is a better case
