That's a Colani case. For all the plastic parts you could have got 15 bucks each.

It's just too far gone for me to do anything. The insides are just so full of rust that there is very little left to save.
My builds!
The FireStarter 2.0 - The wooden K5
The Underdog - The budget K6
The Voodoo powerhouse - The power-hungry K7
The troll PC - The Socket 423 Pentium 4
Those Colani cases were very popular in Germany and adjacent countries and are in high demand nowadays (when complete) but who wants to sit on a pile of spare parts for... forever? Add shipping to the mix and those plastic parts become true shelf huggers.

Cool, had no idea he designed computer cases too. I'll have to get one of his desktops at some point 😀
Got myself a 4.3GB Western Digital HDD and a Microsoft Basic Serial mouse that's also PS/2 compatible. Going to test the HDD by wiping it and checking for bad sectors using VIVARD with the Hiren's Boot CD prior to installing it in my Packard Bell Pack-Mate 28 Plus.

Indeed. I once got a single Colani 3.5" drive cover(!) - small peace of plastic. I sold at Ebay and was very surprised the auction ended > 20€...

Yes, also looking forward for your pics 😀
postman hates me 🤣
do you like In-wins? cause I like In-wins 😀
the case on the left is very very similar to the one I bought for my first own PC in 1998 (mine had a non-textured power button and a single U-shaped panel instead of split panels, otherwise it's the same, I had two different cases before that, but those were shared computers not my "own") unfortunately there's some specks of rust on the back... going to need to fix that, this one is going to house the original configuration I had back then, have collected all the hardware I need for it already.
the 2nd one I got mainly for the travan drive, and I like the case, unfortunately the panel doesn't seem to fit correctly (already fixed the bent tabs, but it still doesn't close)
and three In-wins 😀
my "second" case was an In-win S500 that I still own, unfortunately that one is heavily modded ^^
I had an In-win Q500 already leftover from the old office, but that got thrown out several years ago (not by me 🙁) now it's back in my collection ^^
my slot A build is probably going into one of the A500sand also a bunch of other hardware... will report back with the contents of those cases (there's a surprise in there somewhere) and stuff later when I had time to go through it 😀
...my shoulder also hates me right now
i love inwin a500
i wish i could find one in my country some day 😒
Got this a few days ago for almost nothing. Not exactly useful but for the price I could pass it up hahaha. Maybe I'll use it in a win95 machine with a Xircom PCMCIA NIC or something

This would have been a great Fallout build.

Love the case. It looks somewhat like post apocalyptic one.
Got a new (to me) PC CRT monitor. Nothing particularly exciting or high end, but given good PC monitors are more difficult to find than CRT TVs, especially locally, I wasn't turning this down for €4. A little 17" Samsung SyncMaster 753S, with a Dynaflat-T tube. A bit of yellowing on the top, and does appear to have a scratch in what I guess is the anti-glare layer in the bottom right corner. Will have to see how annoying it is in usage, leaving it alone for now.
But, this should go nicely with my many retro computers. Did some gaming on my main PC through a DisplayPort to VGA adapter, at 800x600@109Hz, and wow, it makes you realize how crap your 1080p@60Hz IPS panel is, refresh rate wise. Spyro Reignited Trilogy looked beautiful despite letterboxing, and Sonic Mania looks very nice as well, pics don't do it justice 😎

Because that's for parity.
