The flea markets I go to will be closed for a couple weeks due to the outbreak, but this weekend I still managed to get a few good items that will keep me entertained during that time:

A very nice ATX PC.

Inside is a s370 440BXmotherboard with a few bloated caps, P3 500MHz, Rage 2c video card and a soundblaster 128. Insides are all black and the whole motherboard can be taken out from the back. Tossed the PSU as it was lighter than its own cables.

Epox ep-51 vpxc motherboard with VIA Apollo vpx/97 chipset and a K6 266MHz, 128MB Geforce 5200

An ISA video card by UMC. And my favorite find - A socket 3 PCI motherboard! Despite being so tiny its got integrated IDE cotrollers and everything.

I want flea markets like that too!!! 🤣

Got the AWE64 Gold today — now I have a home for my 8MB RAM extension daughterboard. The soundcard had some rust on connectors and backplate, so I've cleaned the entire thing and now I wait for it to dry before I test it.

I think Gold is kind of overrated (compared to AWE32/SB32, that is), but I wanted to mess with it, the price was pretty low and I had the RAM module, so why not.

This lot is for sale on my local marketplace. The XFX 7950GT AGP is pretty cool, but I honestly have no use for it. Any idea what the other two video cards are?

The top card could be Radeon 7200 (R100-based). And the yellow one most likely TNT2 m64 as others said.

Not so much bought as found again after 15+ years .. You know, some stuff you put away in a box for your significant other not to find and ask you to get rid of .. Forgetting where you put it, thinking that you might have gotten rid of it somewhere along the way?
Here goes - salvaged from some old gambling machine years and years ago (today I wish I hadn't sent the rest to recycling) the Megahertz display for really big numbers ..

Nice ! Most older HP CRT monitors were made by Sony iirc. Hoping to get one myself soon.
A friend said he has to replace his outdoor storage shed and it is has some old cases, computers, etc. I asked some specifics and he mentioned a HP CRT monitor, some G3 and PowerPC stuff, some older PC's and pc cases. I just hope they are not all water damaged (I have seen his shed, roof leaks badly!) . Never knew he had the stuff in there or would have begged for it long ago.

Ok as I mentioned above. I went, looked and grabbed. Here are a few pics. The Laser XL/XT3 is near immaculate considering where, how it was stored, and it booted up but HD and PSU are dead. Will mess with the Packard Bell next in a few days. The HP monitor has 5 BNC and a special cable to DB15, will have to look into that. The Luggable 286 with mini CRT is just odd, probably the crt will not work. Not sure about any of the Mac stuff except the slimline G3, that i may try to get working. One of the Tangent desktop cases has a P5 mobo minus everything.

I believe it's ZIDA 4DPS. A budget late 486 motherboard from the times when the 486 generation was already showing its age.

It used to be very popular here in Russia, I got mine in a complete 486 PC in exchange for a ~40" CRT TV several years ago. The original owner bought it new in 1997 in Moscow, that's 3 hours flight or 2 days on a train (which most people perferred back in the day) along with AMD 5x86-133, S3 Trio, etc. It has been in use well into mid-2000s.

If it's anything like the old ViewSonic I used to have, it's RGBHV to DB-15, with individual channels for the 3 colors and the other two lines are separate H-sync and V-sync signals.

Well my new 486 Arrived today.

Completely gutted.
PC was packed alright, not amazing but would not have expected this amount of damage after I opened it.

It has taken one hell of a shunt to bend thick steel like that!!!
The floppy drive is a right off.
The HDD/floppy cage will need some bending to make it fit again.
The case is cracked and that bend underneath it seems very difficult to correct.
Several jumpers on the motherboard have taken such a hit that they fell to pieces.
The CPU was hit so hard it took the fan off of the heatsink(4 screws!!) and the CPU had even started to lift from the socket.
The soundcard was hit and broke some superficial plastic from the ISA slot.

It took me a while to come to terms with it and slowly take it apart and assess each part.

Somehow, after replacing the broken jumpers, bending pins back and crossing my fingers.. It actually boots.

Once I am over my dissapointment of this damage I will share the insides as there is actually some nice parts inside.

WOW they must have dropped it off the delivery truck. Good to hear the board works.
