Just bought this brand new/sealed pair of Quickshot speakers (circa '94). They don't sound anything special but the retro look fits my setup 😀

Holly cow, is that possible?! Have same pair as You (but not brand new, of course) and without supply adapter. It's not a problem, but I didn't know for what voltage. Thanks to your photos, I can see on the box that at 12V, right? Thank You!

Yes it is 12V. Here's a photo from the original power supply.
center negative is also a very important information in that case ^^
yawetaG wrote on 2021-06-08, 05:02:Can you image the CD-ROMs please? I see your card comes with something from eMagic (special version of Soundiver?)
I'll have a look ^^ there were also two burned CDs with stuff included iirc.
@Ydee: Beware of negative center. Most of these power supplies tend to have positive center. If the speakers do not have reverse polarity protection, you might fry their internal amplifier if you use one with positive center.
Edit: imi was faster 😉
Thanks to all, the polarity is shown on the back, but the voltage and current are missing. Getting the right adapter will be easy now. Thanks for the photo, pampilhoso!

How much was that 2GB disk ?
(and where did you find it)
These seem very expensive, at least as new....

I just use the cheap ones from China. Not much at all to a CF to IDE adapter. It is really hard to mess up something like that.
These to A2ks
Nicer one is in very decent shape, came with GVP SCSI adapter and Vortex GoldenGate 386SX card.
Second one will be parted out... it has MFM controller, motherboard is missing the CPU some pins are bent on the chips...
Price was very OK on both...
Third one is still in shipping I recently also bought 2 more which I already received (both are in working condition just require some love and minor repairs).
This make total of 6 Amiga 2000s 🤣 (seventh one I sold in April).
New items (October/November 2022) -> My Items for Sale

Ah... China.... I see.
I bought a few 'cheaply' on sale locally, but they were only 1gb, so...

Did you get them from partsexpress.com ? Back in January I bought 2 different sound force speaker sets for me and my wife's computers. They were cheap and sound fantastic. I got 1 sound force 515 and 1 sound force 540. Best 12 bucks spent
Bought this Aztech Sound Galaxy Pro 16 Extra for 20€ a while back. It's in good condition, but I have not tested it yet.

No, I bought it from an ebay seller (europe). Those sound force 515 actually seem very similar to mine. And 12 bucks was definitely a bargain! 😀
Yeah it was a great deal it was 12 bucks for both sets and maybe another 5 for shipping

once i get a chance to check the disks, I'll post any working images to the drivers library thread
wow thats interesting. So the Tekram 395uw is supposed to use a custom asic, TRM-1040 and the INIC-940/950 is custom asic.. those cards look suspiciously similar 😀

I just had to buy these.
None of them work but I love repairs!
@Miphee: But how do You know, if it is repairable? Or You try luck?

It's all luck and that's the beauty of it. It's a challenge.
Can I find the problem? What tools do I need? Do I have the necessary parts?
So much fun.
Challenge and lottery, I understand:) I have it similarly.
