Sorry for the delayed update. Just tried the USB drivers from Image Disk, but I can't get them to work. I get this:

I probably wasn't clear - The USB setup on the ImageDisk bookable floppy work in some cases for mass-storage (flash drives etc.)
They don't make USB floppy drives work under DOS (and certainly not with IMD - which needs to control an actual floppy drive controller)

Although I did manage to get USB mass storage working under DOS on a couple of systems, I don't find it reliable enough to use
on a regular basis - That's the main reason I wrote DDLINK - so I could get larger files (like disk images) off a booted floppy via
Network, Parallel or Serial.

Ahh, I see. So is it not possible to use USB drives in DOS at all? No modern utilities exist? If not, it doesn’t matter. Just wanted to take advantage of the option if it existed. 🙂

OS: Windows 98 SE
CPU: Slot 1 Pentium III Coppermine 933MHz (SL448)
RAM: Kingston 256MB 133MHz
GPU: Nvidia 16MB Riva TNT/128MB Geforce 4 Ti 4200
Motherboard: ABit AB-BE6-II Intel 440BX
Sound Card: Sound Blaster Live Value CT4670

I have no idea - I've not personally seen any, but that doesn't mean they don't exist anywhere.

ImageDisk definitely won't work with anything USB - it talks directly to the actual Nec765 based floppy disk system in a PC.
But ... DOS might be able to... As far as I know, it uses BIOS calls to access the drive - and it might be possible to link into those
to implement the higher level functionality ... I just haven't seen it done.
