You better call Microsoft and tell them they screwed my Windows copy.

patents != copyrights
I suspect the composition was created between 1989 and 2002, also being published shortly after in that interval.
Looking at this resource:
http://copyright.cornell.edu/resources/publicdomain.cfm
The copyright term is at least 95 years after publication, assuming proper registration by Microsoft.

Some info about the company.
My bad.
Either way it's almost 30 years old. I don't forsee anybody caring. If they do, i am happy to take it down.

It's much quicker to listen if you convert to MP3 and attach to your post. Then it's just one click for the Open dialog and one more click to have VLC open the file. Going to Dropbox takes multiple clicks (closing out of their login prompt, etc), then downloading a 40MB file can take a minute or two.
The more I learn, the more I realize how much I don't know.

dropbox has a built in player?
It's actually easier than downloading and opening an MP3 because dropbox will play it straight in your browser and you don't have to do anything extra.

But if it's such a problem, here you go.
Tell me which one is better.
I'm guessing it's because I'm on XP. Which doesn't seem so weird when you remember we're in a retro computing forum. 😉
Regarding your files, they both sounded like they were missing multiple instruments. But the instruments I could here in the first one sounded more original to the song. The 2nd one sounded like different instruments were intentionally picked.

Holy shit, you know what?
My soundfont doesn't have any drums in it. None whatsoever.
That sucks.
And the second one was an attempt to use different instruments that would make the song sound better for that soundfont.
