Yeah with the volume levels the Orchestra addon gets a little unwieldy. I've placed in a shitton of instrument samples and reverb effects to make it try and simulate a real orchestra with the same sort of harmonic reverberations you'd hear in a concert hall, but it can do really weird things at certain frequencies. This is just like what can happen in real life, but in real life the bands practice a bit in the hall before performing before a live audience so they know how loud they need to be. SF2 doesn't exactly allow for this behavior.
This is the main reason why I don't recommend it for most games.

That being said, I'll see if I can fix these issues though as it should be pretty simple to deal with. Was rise of the triad composed with the Roland sound canvas in mind as well? I like to know what they were writing it for so I have something to reference it against.

I believe it was written with the SC-55 in mind, though I am not 100% sure.

I through some unknown urge I have started up a soundfont project.
The goal is to have the best possible midi sound that can come out of a synthesizer. Size is not of any concern for me, quality is my only goal!
For this project I'm working on making sf2 files bassmidi compatible. Mostly so they will work with Zoltan's excellent program, Falcosoft MidiPlayer. I'm always looking to improve this soundfont, if you have any complaints or suggestions feel free to leave some feedback in the comments.

I noticed the site with the download is dead. I was trying to find this soundfont again, but I lucked out and found a copy on my PC. I tried using it with the Dark Forces remaster and it worked, but I never got rid of the KOR sf2 file. If anyone wants it I can host the file I got on dropbox until the site goes back online, if it does that is.
