I have a S2016A and a S2016-II-B Elite and will happily dump the ROMs but I'm not sure about the legality of posting those files on here. Does anyone have thoughts on that?

My personal opinion is that something like archive.org is a better place to post those ROMs.
But there are other ROM dumps posted on various threads with “fair use” license, so it seems to be acceptable.
Since Creative acquired Ensoniq in the late 90s they probably hold the rights to these ROMs?
I tried upgrading the 1MB ROM of an Opus card to 2MB but unlike with the Odie card this did not work.
I have been following this great topic, and for few weeks I have been modding my soundscape board (with 1 mb rom) with a socket for SOP-44.
Now I also have the 2mb chip and a programmer; but it seems impossible to find the 2mb rom anywhere.
Could anybody share the rom with me?
Thanks!

During recording I noticed that the signal level on the right channel of the rev A board was rather low, much lower than the left channel. I suppose there is some kind of malfunction or bad part in the analog section of the board.
Interesting. I have exactly the same issue with my Rev A. But I don't remember with which channel.
What are the current prices for these boards today?
