That looks good to me.

Those Intel 430TX chipset drivers are probably even more up to date than what I installed from the Soyo CD.

Philscomputerlab's site actually has even newer ones than this from 2001, but that's probably not worth bothering with.

Well, it looks like I'm gonna have to re-install Windows again. Unfortunately, the issue I solved in this thread came back! I have no clue what triggers it and the only way I could find to fix it was to reinstall the OS. I was playing Croc and noticed it was running way worse than before, then I tried it in software mode and the exact same thing happened. Then I realized it was that same problem from that older thread happening all over again.

I'm a bit frustrated to say the least, but at the same time a little relieved that it isn't an issue with the Voodoo card. This time, I'm absolutely backing up the drive.

I figured out what triggered the stuttering. It was caused by installing and running Microsoft Motocross Madness, which sucks because that's a game I really wanted to play on here. I did the re-installation of the OS, programs, etc. and everything was going well until then. I noticed the issue right after playing that game. Thankfully I made an image of the drive soon before that occurred this time!

So, I managed to improve performance fairly significantly in GLQuake by adding these to the glideenv.bat file (got the idea from old looking website.):
SET SST_FASTMEM=1
SET SST_FASTPCIRD=1
SET FX_GLIDE_SWAPINTERVAL=0
SET SST_SWAP_EN_WAIT_ON_VSYNC=0

I now get over 50 fps in 512x384. Performance in general is noticeably better in both Glide and Direct3D games when Vsync is turned off, the only downside is the screen tearing.
