Chappell Roan's "The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess" is quite possibly the best pop album I've heard in a decade. More specifically, "Red Wine Supernova" and "Pink Pony Club" just make me happy!

We had a positively crackin' set of tunes going yesterday morning whilst making pancakes, omelettes, smoothies and other delicious brekkie goodies. It was such a messy, goofy good time--and I'm quite certain that the blender hated every minute of it. I'll just copy our recently played list:

The Fresh Prince of Bel Air Theme Song
The Fresh Prince of Bel Air Theme Song again
Michael Franti & Spearhead - Everybody Ona Move
Rob 'n' Raz - Got to Get
Marvin Hamlisch - The Entertainer
Faces - You're So Rude
Prozzak - www.nevergetoveryou
Aneka - Japanese Boy
David Bowie - China Girl
Raffi - Bananaphone
Fred Penner - The ABC's of You
Eric Clapton - Let It Grow
ABBA - Does Your Mother Know
Lily Allen - LDN
The Specials - Enjoy Yourself (It's Later Than You Think)
Nelly - Hot In Herre
Brady Bunch - Time To Change
Rochelle - My Magic Man
Cake - Stickshifts and Safetybelts
Tom Jones - Sexbomb
S Club 7 - S Club Party
The Lion King - I Just Can't Wait To Be King
Better Than Ezra - Conjunction Junction
Little Richard - Bama Lama Bama Loo
T. Rex - Baby Boomerang
Charli XCX - Apple
Beatles - Birthday
Vengaboys - Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom!!
Skipworth & Turner - Thinking About Your Love

Man - sucks that tomorrow is Monday. That's...a thought going through my head right now, not the name of a song by a dude called Man.

I keep cycling between my two musical personalities - alternative metal and synthpop (wonder what that says about me as a person).

Any other Devin Townsend fans here? I also listen to a lot of Nine Inch Nails - managed to score tickets to see them this summer - more than enough Linkin Park, and some newer stuff mixed in as well. BMTH, Chat Pile, Loathe, etc.
Besides that, lots of New Order, Pet Shop Boys, Tears for Fears.

I can't get enough of Tears for Fears and Pet Shop Boys. There was a time in my life when I listened to Behaviour (full album) at least once a day. Being Boring is an incredible song.

We had some younger kids "helping" out in the kitchen that day. Some musical compromises had to be made.

Rush - Caress of Steel.

Great to listen to while playing an RPG. Very 70s and very proggy.

The more I learn, the more I realize how much I don't know.

Been listening to a lot of 80's hits recently. But I keep coming back and listening to the album EAV - Leibe, Tot und Teufel.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hWhnDyXg-dA&l … index=1&pp=8AUB

Everytime I hear it, it brings me back to that spring when I finally got my hands on a Tandy 1000HX. 🤣 That was the first time I'd found this album also.

I recently discovered "Peter Schilling - Tera Titanic": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gAV6esINqW4

Also found this one just a few days ago too, seems there are some 80's tunes yet to be discovered "Hubert Kah - Wenn der Mond die Sonne berührt (1984)" : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JKl6q5An7FA
