'Accidentally' I got a 486 board with 486DX2/66 and 8MB RAM together with a Genoa Cirrus Logic VLB graphics card. I only have exactly one VLB card but am always looking for an inexpensive replacement (it's good to have one 'just in case'). Then this auction popped up which was still pretty low priced and so I placed a bid - quite certain that I wouldn't win. Well, I got it for 95 Euro shipped 😀 Not exactly a steal but still a pretty good price in my opinion.
I haven't tested it, yet. But the seller showed photos where it booted, so I'm optimistic that it works.

I'm slightly surprised that I can't find the board on TheRetroWeb, but maybe It's only my incompetence. The chip is an OPTi 82C495 SX

TRW sometimes needs a few alternate search parameters to tease stuff out. I got this one by opti chipset, 2VLB and eyeball, for whatever reason more specific searches didn't pull it.

That's just regular 512kB SoJ DRAM, same as on any number of PCI VGA cards. Shouldn't be too hard to find. I even bought a couple new from a local electronics place recently. Don't bother though: the GD542x series hardly does anything with 2MB of RAM: no higher colour modes, no higher non-interlaced resolutions, just two eye-melting higher res interlaced resolutions.

I thought it could bump you up to 16bit 64k in 1024x768, and get 60hz, at least the 28 0r 29 maybe could the 24 and 26 were a bit more limited

What a shame.. Not a big problem now since this will be DOS-only, but people who did the upgrade back then were probably pretty disappointed

PC Weasel 2000 was a line of graphics cards designed by Middle Digital Incorporated (Herb Peyerl and Jonathan Levine) which output to a serial port instead of a monitor. This allows servers using PC hardware with conventional BIOSes or operating systems lacking serial capability to be administered remotely.

Got another load of cr*p... It was everything or nothing kind of deal, so I had to take even the stuff I didn't wanted, but the offer was really good as it usually is with these sources (basically computers parted out in the recyclers)...
All motherboards work just fine, beside the MSI one which is unstable due to the caps. There is a cool DFI Super Socket 7 board with my beloved MVP3 and ASUS P2B-F but I think I already have some of these. Also PVI-486SP3, but I believe I already have like two of them as well. Interestingly enough both ECS Socket A boards work just flawlessly. Not something I would expect from an ECS of this era ;D

I will test the cards on weekend.

Another packages of this guy are on my way with similar stuff.
