I now have a MIDI loopback cable at my disposal, so I can continue with firmware dumping of the AWE64 CT4520. Tried the lastest version of SB16DUMP and got the same results as georgel got.

now is strange to me (or maybe that is good), because I have 2 power-on/off cycles before with 1183 always a success, now it fails. 1169 is success, full log attached.

Here is the LOG.TXT file, had to disable NMI to let it continue.

Another attempt:

After 117A makes SB card to toggle NMI and system is halted. No log file created. You'd better flush log file after each line.

Edit: LOG.TXT shows the message twice.
