I think you are likely safe getting a 2007 version of the 204B. It appears only very early versions had the MST scaler. I had to buy an entire other monitor and swap the scaler into my original 204B. I chose to do that because the panel and frame on my original 204B were in much better condition and had been used for fewer hours.

I bought a used one off Facebook Marketplace and it was from 2006, but had the Genesis scaler. Very happy.
