Shameless bump after 4 years.
I collected 4 Savage4 cards, I've got the "xtreme" thanks to Con 2 botones.
All of them are not real "xtreme", here are the pictures and frequencies:

First card is: DH-Savage4 Rev 2.0 32mb
Picture: https://www.picclickimg.com/KQ0AAOSw~MllS8AW/ … vage4-LT-8.webp
Clock: 110/125
I tried to overclock this card up to 146/133 but the performance improvement was negligible (1 fps on incoming, 59,84 while the Diamond 16mb did 68 despite the lower clock!)

Second card: Diamond S3 Savage4 pro 8mb with no heatsink
Picture: https://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/IUkAAOSwxqZjIYXu/s-l1600.jpg
Clock: 120/100

Third card: Diamond Stealth III 540 16mb AGP Savage 4
Picture: https://www.vgamuseum.info/images/palcal/diam … nd/ds3s540b.jpg
Clock: 125/125

Fourth card: Number Nine Savage 4 with 16mb of sgram
Picture: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/common … 2886C398%29.jpg
Clock: 143/153

Performance wise, the best is the Number 9, followed by the Diamond S540, the 32mb cheap version and in the end the 8mb.
I also found this card:

The attachment Immagine.png is no longer available

But I couldn't find the spreadsheet of the memory, in your opinion could it be a 32 mb? The memory is rated for 6ns so it should be able to reach the 166, I can use a beefy heatsink and make it 166/166?

Looks like the diamond S540 you have there, has 6ns memory chips on it. So I think its a great overclocker since 6ns chips can do 166Mhz. I think the core can also be higher clocked, but I think it will need active cooling.

What makes the fake cards fake? Have they written at the back Extreme?
The last card is the old Savage3D.

You call it extreme and then it has lower clocks than lower model, in my opinion it makes it fake.
