Re: Pocket 386 using usb drive. In need of an unobtrusive drive, I have two older Verbatim Store 'n Go's, 4gb and 8gb. Recently, both began freezing in DOS and Win95 when listing their directories/files (both work fine in all other machines).

Then I unearthed an 8gb Cruzer Mini, and the list/access problem went away. I've also started storing more individual files in fewer directories to limit the list. At any rate, with the Cruzer, I can maintain the form factor.
