Hi guys Im trying to set up S-Mu2000 with fsmp but i think im doing something wrong. VST loads and is playing midis but it doesn't show anything at the LCD screen, and midis compared to the older software XG sound worse and less full.Am i missing something? Also my S-emu2000.dll file is 11.7kb instead of 12.029 that i saw here.Any help would be appreciated...

How did you get that 11.7kb plugin dll? It's a miracle that it even loads. You can download the latest auto-built package from here:
https://github.com/tarboh/S-MU2000/releases/d … windows-x64.zip

The VST2 version is in the plugins directory with the dll extension.
Of course you also need the proper rom and art folders. Look at the screenshot above how to place them relative to the plugin:

It seem that i was missing one file that was for the LCD,now it works. But the sound i still find it worse than SXG that i have with a 4mb rom.Less powerful somewhat....I will include some pictures and let me know if everything seems ok.

This is the standalone executable, not the VST2 plugin version. You mentioned that you wanted to use the VST plugin version, don't you?

Here are some test XG Midi files and a corresponding test video so you can check if the Midi files sound the same way or not with your setup:

XG test Midi files:
