I'll have to reboot my router again as the ftp server on it dies when it has anything but a small load on it. Still don't have my 2U server with 36TB worth of HDDs set up yet.

I guess the FTP server is still down, I tried to connect to find anything I could on my VGN-NR460E but I couldn't connect.
Hello guys. /me having the same problem Sony PCG-C1VE. Looking for Drivers for Win2K. A saw already dump of the whole FTP-Server, but maybe there is another option, than download an amount of 500GB of ALL Sony Drivers, to fish afterwards the couple, that i need...
In the meantime, I set up a HTTP mirror for the FTP, as I was also hit by the removal of the FTP server when searching for drivers for a Sony Vaio Notebook:

Wow, thank you!
Weirdly enough, I can't find the current BIOS version of my Vaio laptop (R2060J9) in there at all.

Any chance you could create a zip or rar (or similar) archive so I can download the entire site? I'm trying to archive as many driver sites as I can.

Constantly being worked on. Feel free to message me with any corrections or details of cards you would like me to research and add.

That's also where I downloaded it from. You can enqueue the site i.e. into JDownloader so that it downloads in background.
I just put it up on my machine so that one can download individual files, please don't abuse it by wasting my small uplink bandwidth by downloading the entire site from my mirror.
Thanks, I'll get it from there

Cor blimey! This is the slowest download I've ever had from archive.org! Started downloading the first 20 files (almost 90GB) last night, and it still say 6 days left!
Must say, I need a big drive (maybe 8TB) for my steadily growing driver and manuals collection (only at 750GB so far though).

It took me 2 weeks to download it from archive.org, so 6 days sounds quite promising imho 😀
That's one reason why I made the HTTP mirror, in order to save people the time and hassle to wait forever just to get their desired driver.
6 days is only for 20% of the files 😀 Would be better if it had a torrent file 😀

Oh, that sounds awful. I used 2 threads in download manager, I think archive.org even accepts 3 concurrent downloads but I didn't want to hammer them.

Did not know where else to put this, but I uploaded the PCG-C1XF recovery cds on archive.org. It is the Japanese variant of the C1XS; however, some applications and programs do come with English as an option for install. I'm still continuing to dive into the FTP for more C1 drivers, especially for the C1XS.
Oh well. Spent a week downloading for https://archive.org/details/ftp.vaio-link.com, then 12 hours unzipping. Then, disaster - SMART failure 90% into unzipping! Oh dear 😀
At least it was only a 1TB scrap drive from a scrap laptop 😀

I have a C1XS recovery disc image. Will upload to archive.org and link you here
I was wrong, sorry! I do have an image of someone's drive out of a C1XS though if you'd like. Probably not much use as from my experience you really need the installers for all of the Sony stuff.

Honestly, I would still take you up on the offer as it is better than nothing! Besides, it would be nice to have something somewhat preconfigured to go off of! I appreciate it.
Hello i have a vgn-fe11s (or pcg-7h2m) from 2006. I need some drivers and utilities to use all the features of this computer. If I give the links on Sony's original ftp server, is there anyone who can give me the files?
I'm sorry for my bad english.

Copy links for the drivers you need.
Replace ftp:// with http://dose.0wnz.at/ in the URL and you have the appropriate driver.
i.e. Link is:
ftp://ftp.vaio-link.com/PUB/Downloads/SO/A/SS … 01595000-UN.exe
Change URL to:
http://dose.0wnz.at/ftp.vaio-link.com/PUB/Dow … 01595000-UN.exe
and you have a working download URL.
Regards.

It's a Macrium Reflect image. Not my drive so can't vouch for its usefulness but all the key parts seem to be there.
Let me know once you've got it, I don't have much space left on my Google drive haha.
