Hello.
I just build Beepblaster 2.0 ant it doesn't work.
After connecting power, instantly all I can hear is high pithed sound, ~7,5kHz.
Looking something like this: "_|_|_|_|_|_|_|_|_|_|_" (sorry i don’t have picture of my cheap oscilloscope ).
On both channels. Swapping chips do not help. Same on only one chip inserted.
I never played with Arduino so I have zero knowledge.
I programmed chips according to added fuses screen (i bought chips completely blank, no bootloader thing).
What I might done wrong?

There are many sources of error for this.
Can you put pictures of your soldering work online?
What device did you use to program the Arduinos?

What you also can try is: Flash a Bootloader, and than the Software.

Don't mind THT resistor, i ordered 100K 1206 instead 100R...

I program them using XGecu T48 (TL388-3G)

And little UPDATE:
I programmed them yesterday once more and 7,5KHz tone had vanished.
When there is no midi signal i got silence.
When midi is played i got afoul noise, but it looks like the noise is dependant on what is on midi channel.
Almost like audio out was to loud. (is there voltage divider on out of those chips that i might screw up?)
So it looks like chips are reacting to MIDI.
Maybe something is wrong witch IC'S?

Any suggestions?

I check the device, and fix it for MaLLy_R.

Result.

I've checked the device and i've found 2 defective Caps (22pf) - they had just 11 and under 10,
and a defective Crystal.
All 3 Parts are changed, and it's working just fine 😀

Dang it.
They are brand new and from two different sellers.
I got scammed... What cost? Measly 2 Euros? Its insane.
It never came to my mind that they could be faulty...
