I have a problem with the Voodoo Banshee card does not display an image only a black screen, the fan on the heatsink works. I have tried on two different motherboards which are working, maybe someone has some idea what can be tried to do, I would appreciate it.
Does the system beep and sound like it's still booting? Could be corrupted VBIOS.
Plug in a working video card beside it and use that one to boot into Windows. Does the Banshee show up under device manager?
I tried turning on the computer with other cards (agp and pci) to see if the card is visible in the device manager under windows, but if this particular voodoo is in any pci slot the computer stops booting. Yesterday while looking at the card I found a broken path on the pcb, I already checked with a multimeter and indeed the path is broken, I will try to fix it today or tomorrow and see what happens.
