Hi, I'm just wondering if anybody managed to run Full Throttle under Dosbox? I can run every other Lucasarts games of the era except this one. 😒

Yes, I believe so. I think it runs pretty good in SCUMMVM nowadays as well.
Intel i7 5960X
Gigabye GA-X99-Gaming 5
8 GB DDR4 (2100)
8 GB GeForce GTX 1070 G1 Gaming (Gigabyte)
I know it runs well under ScummVM, but I'm interested in running it under Dosbox, I can install the game & everything goes well, then when I try to launch the game it just quits, that's it, if anybody was successfull playing it, I'd like to know if there are specific tweaks required to get further, thanks
The only tweak I remember having to do was use SBPro instead of SB16 in the setup utility to prevent sound skipping.
I'd guess that you're not mounting the CD correctly.
Recently, a fix was applied to CVS to fix FT; before the fix, you had to disable EMS to get the game working from within the game menu.
Using a recently built CVS version (or version 0.63), I have no problem whatsoever with FT. Can you describe exactly how you're mounting the CD and starting the game, and what you get after you started it?! Is there an error message, does Dosbox itself crash, or something entirely different?
Regards,
Ronald
No, it's just a simple exit, no crash error told, I commonly use the latest CVS builds, but I'll try without EMS just in case 😀
Awesome! I tried disabling EMS & shortly after I got the latest Dosbox release & both work! this is indeed a good day for Dosgamers 🤣
