At the moment, I'm playing Eye of the beholder 2 - the legend of Darkmoon. It was developed by Westwood and published by SSI, in December 1991. It has VGA graphics, but only supports Soundblaster/Adlib FM music.
Did you meet the 'Sentry' yet?!

Something to consider.

Thanks, folks. I'm actually getting better now, the fever is gone. Anyway, I think I need to play more action and flightsims --kind of games that keep both of my hands busy, leaving no free hand for smoking.
Well at least I'm not a heavy drinker anymore. 😀
Never thought this thread would be that long, but now, for something different.....

Not yet. I've only covered the forest, temple, underground, and now I'm in the barracks...

Care to write After-Action Report? Probably just a part of the entire game?

Your "action report" was really awesome! Unfortunately, I can't be bothered to do one myself!
@Kreshna
I am in the process of quitting. Been wearing Nicorette patches for the last 16 days. I still smoke cigarettes, but instead of the daily 20 now are just 4-5. 😁 And the smoke quitting counselor is an attractive lady doctor close to my age ;;)
Y2K box: AMD Athlon K75 (second generation slot A)@700, ASUS K7M motherboard, 256 MB SDRAM, ATI Radeon 7500+2xVoodoo2 in SLI, SB Live! 5.1, VIA USB 2.0 PCI card, 40 GB Seagate HDD.

Whoa. I'm still doing a daily 40. Once I tried to go cold turkey like my uncle did, but I failed (unlike him).

Do you mean the Sentry area? - The part where your path is blocked by a wall which moves when you do? If yes, then I have got past this puzzle. At the bottom of this webpage, is the solution -

Yep, me and a friend of mine with whom I was playing this game at the time were stuck at the sentry for days before figuring out how to pass it.. we finished the game nonetheless, brings back memories 😀
Two: Simon the Sorcerer and Red Baron (which I actually have on floppies with no floppy drive 😀) - I hit GOG's spring sale.

I've just completed Eye of the beholder 2, the legend of Darkmoon.
THE COMMENTS BELOW CONTAIN A SPOILER
Pic #1 = the main villain who ...
Pic #2 = ... turns in to a dragon
Pic #3 = After this battle, the evil monestary needs to be zapped in to oblivion.
Pic #4 = Now it's gone, the builders swiftly move in to build another Tescos.
Pic #5 = Mug shots of the victorious party.
I've just started Ultima IV: Quest of the Avatar. I'm playing this game with the VGA graphics & MIDI music patch. Some original screenshots (CGA and EGA) can be found on this mobygames webpage -

It's an enhanced Simon the Sorcerer music soundtrack. 😀
There's an awesome Ultima IV character editor called u4edit.exe. Using it, I've given myself the "blink spell", and was then able to hop over to an island to chant a mantra at the Honesty shrine. Oh the irony!
Digger. And Pub Pool. (CGA DOS games...definitely old school!)
Once you try retrogaming, you'll never go back...
Been playing a little bit of Shadows Over Riva, but I think I'm going to put it back up on the shelf. I'm impressed with the 3d world, but the interface screams SVGA.
It's a good game anyway. I finished aeons ago. I could never finish the other two parts from the trilogy (blade of destiny and star trail). Too difficult.
