This archive was in the news recently:

Rick Brewster is the creator of freeware graphics editor Paint.NET, but back in the early 1990s he was a precocious young developer of videogames. One of those games, made when he was only 12, was The Golden Flute 4: The Flute of Immortality. Until recently Brewster thought his game was gone forever, the only copy given away to a cousin and then lost.

that's cool and concerning at the same time. don't trust cousins and always backup, even if it's '93 central (no) point software backup!!!

i should mention that "macaw" is a streamer who regularly streams computer games and has a knack for the bad ones, and has been focusing on DOS games recently, so the recent vods may be of interest to some here (while they last as he does not save them!)
