I got this old 8-bit sound card a couple of weeks ago. It is missing some connectors and I don't even know the manufacturer. If anybody recognizes this sound card, please let me know.

It is an sound blaster clone with OPL2 clone chip named 74LS631.

It also has sockets for Game Blaster CMS chips.

Thanks, I'll check it out.

Another question. What are those audio connectors called that are missing from the card? There is only one left and one has been replaced with an ugly cable. I would like to put proper connectors if found anywhere.

Type "3.5 jack mono pcb" in google / google images and find something that fits. I think those are mono jacks but if nothing fits look for stereo jacks too.

In fact, CMS is stereo.
So even though the SB was mono, it has stereo jacks. That info surprised me when I did recordings of CMS compatibility on SB cards.

The more sound cards, the better.

Think it came out of a Goldstar computer? Two of the chips are labeled that.

Check me out at Transcendental Airwaves on Youtube! Fast-food sucks!

Nope, Goldstar is just the manufacturer of these common logic ICs, there are also some National Semiconductors, Motorola, ST and Hyundai ICs as well... Looks like the expensive ICs are clones and the really common ones are whatever they could find cheaper, typical for a clone card
