I would go for as much AT stuff as possible. Stuff like 386 to Pentium-1 systems. Most preferable 486 based systems.
Reason being, that for Dos, you really need to go that route. Win98se hardware can be found up to Socket478/SocketA era.
Don't eat stuff off a 15 year old never cleaned cpu cooler.
