I have finally found some time to make a demonstration video how a game can be completely rewritten into C++ in less than 25 minutes: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4fAeUx8A-OE

Amazing work. Thanks for posting that!
@gwlegion, unfortunately I cannot help you with that. Cicoparser was just my side job for fun, and I would like to switch to another project. And regarding porting Dune to ScummVM - for me it seems like Dune is not the best candidate for this at all, I dont know details on the gaming engine dune is based on, but it looks like no other games are based on the same engine and by porting it to scumm you would not get the main benefit why scummvm was developed - to achieve compatibility with all games based on the same engine. Please correct me if I am wrong.

FYI, ScummVM already supports a bunch of engines that were apparently only used for individual games. Most of them are in the "Other Game" category at the bottom of https://www.scummvm.org/compatibility/ .

Wow, that was really impressive. Thanks for sharing this! 🙂
By the way, have you played with Ghidra yet? Do you think it's a viable alternative to IDA?
