So....I received the IDE2SAT2 Startech card.....

Long story short : plugged it, plugged the SSD, everything works fine...... Oo'

So......bad adapter = bad results, and investing in a rather expensive but actually working one is....logical....

I'm editing the 1st post accordingly.
