Since i took the 286 from the house of my Parents witch was not used for many years to my flat last year i was modifying it one after another.
This is how it looked like at the beginning
Amd 8MHz
1mb ram onboard with memory remap
5.25 Floppy with 34pin cable connected to the onboard 50pin port
9pin EGA/CGA graphics card
40MB RLL HDD + Controller
First i sent my PSU to a friend to make sure it´s still OK - It was and i got a replacement for my BIOS battery
Then i replaced the noisy fan with a very silent Noctua
And used Retrobright on the plastic parts to restore the color from factory
My Retrosystems:
PIII on GA-6BA running Win98SE
AMD K6 233 on GA-586HX with Win95
Tandon 286-8MHZ Running DOS 6.22 on XTIDE-CF
M326 486DLC + 4c87dlc (Dos+Win3.11)
ECS UM4980 AMD DX2 80 5V (Dos & Win3.11)
