I have an Audigy 2 ZS and I don't think it has a front panel header on it for the headphone and mic ports on my case.
If I plug the header into the motherboard's audio will it direct my soundcard'a audio back to the motherboard and to the front panel? Or would I I have to enable the motherboard's built on audio for that to happen (and it wouldn't use the Audigy at all when using the front panel headphones).
It's a 1156 motherboard so I think it's "HD audio" connector rather than AC97 if that makes a difference.
