Well, it's quite the dilemma!

Upon finding it was real, initial instinct was to put it away safely. However, seems like the consensus was to use it & enjoy.

However, would feel pretty uncomfortable using it with tantalums on it. Seems like there are varied opinions about whether to replace these, and what with.

If it's best not to replace them, then probably won't bother building a clone as have got an ISA one that does a decent OPL2/3 emulation already, will just use that instead.

As always, appreciate the opinions.

Sorry for necroposting but my original Adlib's tantalum caps have just exploded. I mean, like with a real boom and fire so there you go, they do explode even if it is a sound card. I will of course replace them right away.
