The contents of this post have been moved to the DOSBoxWiki:

Please feel free to discuss SVN build-related news/info in this thread.

Please do not post bug reports here. If you've found an SVN bug, please make sure it occurs in a vanilla SVN build; if it does, compare behavior to the official 0.74 release and create a new thread in this sub-forum to discuss the results. Be sure to mention which SVN revision you encountered the issue with.

Also note that posts may be deleted or split off into new threads from time to time at moderator discretion if things wander too far off-topic!

The "tharos" build did stop because my server died 😉

gulikoza is still here...a bit busy though 😀 See Virusek build, it has the same patches as my previous build. I am meanwhile trying to refresh my patches...

And Daums Cafe is down afaik, but i guess it's because he ykhwong is still doing his military service.

Heh, I'll discharge from the military service soon (August 11th 2010). 😀
Today, I bought a web hosting service and moved my website to http://www.thx4good.x-y.net (http://ykhwong.xo.st/)

I can compile svn versions, I've done this with both visualc and intel
compilers, if you want, I can compile on a set schedule, and post the
latest exe somewhere that other people could get it. Let me know if
your interested.

Did you talk to Qbix or somebody about this? I pretty much dislike advertising
*DEVELOPMENT* builds even more than the dev forum (which should not contain
links to prebuilt versions either IMO).

No, but I don't think he has a problem with it since he edited it to correct some links (I'm assuming he's WikiSysop). It's worth noting that it's not linked from anywhere else in the wiki either (let alone the main page), so you pretty much have to know it's there to even find it.

It's already been a lot nicer having it in the Wiki where the build maintainers can update the info on their own builds as they see fit, but I of course would move it back here if Qbix or Harekiet were to request that I do so.

Looks like h-a-l-9000 updated the SVN Builds page on the Wiki to announce that MB6 has been released.

Thanks for the info. 😉
In hal's MB6 build, cycles=max with DOS_IDLE (on shell prompt) does not stop increasing CPU cycles. Too high cycles make DOSBox just stop working in the end. It does not matter only with dynamic core, though.

It is mostly like Wikipedia but seems somewhat limited, probably due to low version of wiki software? There is no way to upload image files. It says "File uploads are disabled." Many pictures are old or outdated. Some months ago, I updated some other pages so that people will not download older versions of DOSBox, anyway.

It needs to revise main page and its links to other pages. (Vista Specific Issues->Vista/7 Speicific Issues: as there is Win7 also, Keymapper->Mapper: because it also can remap joystick, and so on) No privilege to edit, sadly.

What about adding a link to how to use signature in discussion page like this?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Signature
So dizzy... When I see some talk pages, I don't understand who wrote a question/comment at a glance. Look at Talk:Main Page.

I'm scripting an automatic dosbox snapshot creation on SVN changes for OS X. Right now the universal binary can be downloaded from http://dl.dropbox.com/u/7737184/Dosbox/Dosbox-Snapshot.dmg (the url might change in the future).
Universal binary means it is for PPC and Intel Macs (only 32bit since 64bit Dosbox is much slower).
No additional patches applied, a clean SVN built.

Is there a mailing list of SVN changes? I'd like to subscribe to make my automation fully work 😀

Trimmed this thread a bit, and updated the wiki page (thanks Qbix for re-enabling access). Lots of builds moved to the "no longer updated" list due to being at least a year old. Now we're down to one pure and one custom SVN build in the active lists 🙁

MB6 is based on SVN r3661, not 0.74. If h-a-l-9000 re-baselines it to be based on 0.74 then that's a different story.
