I'm looking for an awesome X-FI sound card to connect to the Audigy 2 Breakout Box, SB0250. It seems like X-FI Titanium SB0880 will not connect as the SB0250 needs the standard 40pin IDE connect and the SB0880 doesn't have it. However, X-Fi XtremeMusic, SB0450 can connect to SB0250. Are there any other X-Fi sounds cards that can connect to the SB0250 and can anyone confirm this? I'm going to throw this into an XP box. Thanks!

The SB0460 (XtremeMusic) is probably what you mean, rather than SB0450 .

Essentially, any PCI (not PCI Express) X-FI card that has a 40-pin header should work.

Beware of OEM variants : Re: Front Panels Compatible with Sound Cards with EAX for WXP

The XtremeMusic and I think, XtremeGamer would work as well. They have the 40pin connector. Maybe they are both SB0460. I'm getting a bit confused with how people are labeling these cards online.
You said that it must be a PCI sound card, because none of the PCIe cards have the 40pin connector? I did see that with the X-Fi Titanium as well.

How do I know I am not looking at an OEM card? The model number should be SB0460 and nothing else? I'll include a few photos. All of these are definitely a real SB0460 card, right? If it says Creative Labs SB0460, then that is what I am looking for? Is there anything else I need to consider.
