Just like to share some data about the EIZO / NANAO TIGA MD-B09 TMS34010.

Unlike for many other TIGA cards the driver for this card is still available. I expected to be able to connect a VGA screen to the "CN2". However this connector provides only the same signal that is available on the cinch-out - and nothing else.

It seems that the card runs only with some special fixed frequency monitor. It is only black and white with 3 resolutions to select from. No color, no VGA. When connecting to a composite-in only some moving trash is displayed. The card is working, but without a suitable monitor it seems to be pretty useless.

Somebody has an idea what kind of monitor is required?

Determining the HF and VF using an oscilloscope should give an idea of what monitor could be made compatible to that card.

Right to repair is fundamental. You own it, you're allowed to fix it.

Composite video contains both the HF and VF.
A composite signal is easy enough to visualize on a oscilloscope.

I only own a logic analyzer. What you can see is that the frames switch with 60 Hz.

So the question is more if there is a possibility to display a 1280 x 1024 composite signal on a modern screen?

Just found the solution...my DELL supports Composite Sync on green - simply attach the output signal to the green signal on the VGA connector 😁

ah yes, the age old knowing which piece of hardware you own has that particular ability you once thought you'll never be using 😉

Neat. though shouldn't it be 1600x1200 ?
and ... Which games can you play on that 😁 though i guess it was probably meant for some CAD applications.

Unfortunately no games.

There is the number9 demo
EIZO MD-B12 TIGA TMS34010

I also was looking forward to test this
TIGA Promotional Kit *Imaged*

But it complains about only 2 colors on this card.
