Hello,
I never read a lot about different VGA connection standards and lately I was reading about this subject and some cables lacking a PIN for newer monitors. I'd like to ask you if there are problems using a full pin VGA cable into a last generation VGA LCD with a modern / older video card or instead if it'd be better to use the right cable with or without that PIN?
Also about old LCD monitor, I got one with the EDID data probably broken or similar, beside the not-Plug&Play monitor sw forcing options or disabling the EDID reading, would hw disabling directly the serial data cable PIN transform the monitor into a old style one that'd need manual settings by software?
Thanks
