Nice list, Akuma!
I have some more to add:
* Hooray for Henrietta (version 2.0 from 1992) by Lander Software - requires both CT-VOICE.DRV and SBFMDRV.COM.
* Spellbound! (1992) by Lander Software - requires both CT-VOICE.DRV and SBFMDRV.COM.
As far as I remember, the second one needs SB Pro, not just SB1/2.

I don't know if it's considered to be a sound driver, but "Sound, Graphics & Aircraft Upgrade" for Microsoft Flight Simulator 4.0 requires SBTALKER.EXE and SBTALK.BAT from the Sound Blaster installation package to be able to speak.

Thought about it:
If it needs soundcard software to run properly, I'm adding it 😁
I'll bet there are more out there 👍

Thanks!

Nope, AdLib games 😁, added 18 games to the AdLib SOUND.COM list.
Found a hacked AdLib SOUND.COM 1.31, but its too messed up to add 🙁 *bummer*

Edit:
added 84 games to the SBFMDRV.COM list, yay!

Hi,

add to the list "Fiendish Freddy's Big Top O' Fun".

Needs sound.com driver to run game using -ADLIB parameter with .exe

Greetings.

Yay!, added and credited under SOUND.COM

your README.MD in the 7z file is not up to date 🙁

Thanks, I will update those lists when I have something substantial to add for pack 1.03

is the latest version of such a driver always the best for dosbox or are there games that need specific versions?

im thinking about reversing some of the drivers and looking for the right versions when used with dosbox

Hello Akuma.

The SBFMDRV version 1.30 is dated July 17 of 1991 and that file can be gotten from the following collection of Creative driver and floppy disk images here: http://vogonsdrivers.com/getfile.php?fileid=6

It is inside a LHA compressed file called DRIVER.LZH located at SOUNDBLASTER DRIVERS\SoundBlaster Pro CT-1330A Install Disks\SoundBlaster Pro I\SBPRO DISK1\

There is also a different version of CT-VOICE.DRV (5,014 bytes, dated October 31 of 1991) which isn't in the Sound Driver Pack.

VIA C3 Nehemiah 1.2A @ 1.46 GHz | ASUS P2-99 | 256 MB PC133 SDRAM | GeForce3 Ti 200 64 MB | Voodoo2 12 MB | SBLive! | AWE64 | SBPro2 | GUS

i can't find the SOUNDBLASTER DRIVERS\SoundBlaster Pro CT-1330A Install Disks in the vogonsdrivers, there is no SOUNDBLASTER DRIVERS under the Sound Devices - direct link?

The one that is on Akuma's driver pack doesn't have the actual timestamp.

I should have told that properly.

The entire path is inside the compressed file called SOUNDBLASTER_DRIVERS.RAR which has to be downloaded from the link that I provided.

found it, there are also some SBTALKER.EXEs in the archives - sadly my 7zip can show me the content of the LZHs but not uncompress, but maybe Akuma got the right tools

Was talking about the one was incorrectly dated December 8 of 2020 and has the empty folder UNKNOWN_TIMESTAMP along with it.

Yep, it cannot be extracted with 7-zip. It would require using the DOS LHA extractor or a different software capable of doing this.

If using the DOS application, don't use vanilla DOSBox as it will set the incorrect timestamp. Use DOSBox-X or a real machine for this.

IF it works, yes, but there lays the problem, I always start with SB1.0 and work my way up.
