Write down all steps you have done so far...

I set up a new directory as DOSbox and new one as oldgames, I placed the discworld info inside old games. Then I loaded on DOSbox and followed the instructions to mount the c:\oldgames. As far as i can see it mounted, Then when i type in cd discwolrd or dsc or dwb - it says it cannot find the file? I did try c:\discworld\folder1\folder2 but still nothing.

I hope i have done this right. I do have SCUMM but that doesnt like me at all on any games including simon the sorcerer.

I think you made a mess of the mounted drives. You need BOTH a CD drive (where you install game from) and a HARD DRIVE to install to:

E.g.

mount d f:\ -t cdrom

This is for the cd part. Change f for the real letter of your CD/DVD drive as shown inside My PC.

mount c c:\oldgames

Then you go the CD drive and invoke the game installer (common names install, setup, etc). After installing it, go to C: drive to start playing it (you may need to leave cd in drive as well).

You could also use a frontend that does the mounting for you.

OK - have mounted the cd drive as D D:\ t- cdrom. Everything was successful. Until that is getting the game to run on it. I have made sure that the file name is correct and that it is in old games, that i have the correct direct X to play these games. They are exe files on my disc (this is the original game as i bought it new years ago) so I know everything is right. Any help would be fantastic.
