swiv 3d no cd ?!

I want to play swiv 3d and I hav al legal copy of the game. I installed it and started it but it didn't start. I went to dosbox and mounted the cd an my hd started it an i get no cd found!?

You probably forgot to mount the CD drive. Write down here all commands you used.

Uuuhm lets see.
HD = D:\
Disk = E:\
I did this:

Cd in the player. Installed Swiv 3d for DOS. Launch DOSbox. Mount my HD http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z41/Darkaquarium/Knip […]

Mount my HD

Then added my disk

Then i typed these codes :
d:
dir
cd swiv
swiv_dos.exe

Then it will start and shows me SCI (makers of the game) and then suddenly it crashes an says this :

Try this:
Launch DOSbox.
Cd in the player.
Mount my HD
Installed Swiv 3d for DOS from inside DOSBox.

-label "swiv 3d"
-ioctl ?

CD is seen by Windows as a music CD. Maybe this can help.

Try it with a cdimage (cue/bin pair created by isobuster or something).

I mount the image with powerISO. in a virtual drive

See about the imgmount command in the dosbox readme, that is don't use virtual cd software.

i do imgmount f D:\SWIV 3D.iso -t iso but it can't find the iso...

You need to put the filename in quotes if it contains spaces:

imgmount F "D:\SWIV 3D.cue" -t iso -label "SWIV 3D"

it worked it found the iso but the game won't start.... 😵 😵

Maybe the game checks for the audio tracks on startup. An ISO image will not contain any audio tracks. You have to create a BIN/CUE image, and mount the CUE in DOSBox, in order to get CDDA.
