I bought an ATI X800 GTO on ebay but it is detected as ATI X850 PRO? Did they make any modifications?

Yet the vendor ID and device ID are those of the X800

It looks to me like a "mix" situation where some of the parameters are from the X850 and some from the X800

3D Mark 2003 SCORE: 9700

It's R480 which is a PCIe chip and usually called X850. I had a X800GTO2 PCIe back in the day that was also R480.

Thanks, so it's a normal X800 GTO 😀

X850 Pro has 12 pp.

I must be some kind of standard: the anonymous gangbanger of the 21st century.

I was looking for a guide on modding around the internet, but I still can't find one with all the links working or with the screenshots still visible

It sucks, because before I forgot basically everything about this specific subject, I had a guide for this on overclock net and overclockstop

But those are long since archived and my brain forgot almost all of it 🤣

Atiflash?

Rabit?

I think those were the programs
