How to add DVD UDF support for windows 98?
I have already tried https://www.roxio.com/en/support/software-updates/udf/ but it gives me an error "The roxio UDFReader has not been detected".
Did you reboot after installation? Some software requires it.
I can't even install it, because it gives me following error (its Win10 but the same on win98).
It's likely an update and needs an older version to be installed first.
You're right. I found the driver, installed but the DVD-ROM disappeared from the windows after reboot. It isn't present in device manager.
What's the make and model of your DVD-ROM?
It's SAMSUNG SD-608. After another reboot it is recognized in Windows again but as AudioCD which is nonsense.
I used Adaptec UDF Reader Driver 5.1.1.213
EDIT: Problem solved. I changed Samsung DVD to newer one (from 2004) and now it works!
