I purchased an Epox EP-D3Va and it arrived a few days ago.
Also found a second poorly listed Lin-Lin adapter around the same time and bought it.

Finally got a chance to test the board today and it seems to be working fine with Dual PIII-1.4Ghz Tualatin CPUs other than the bus speed, CPU speed and RAM speed being detected incorrectly.

Also try a different power supply as 12v seems a bit high. The first PSU I tried didn't have as many amps on the 5v line and it was running at 4.65v... uggghhh.
Will be trying a much newer PSU that should have much better voltage regulation.

Brand new coolers but I really don't like the vibration / speed of the fans. I'll be trying out the Stock Intel ones but not sure they will clear the capacitors, even with the Lin-Lin adapters.

Looks like the Lin-Lin box has me setting the FSB to 100Mhz. Found what looks like the full settings here:

Screen cap for future reference:

The attachment Lin-Lin settings.jpg is no longer available

Differences from the Box (for Tualatin):
Intel chipset:
Voltage A5-A6 (1.5v)

VIA or SIS chipset
Voltage A2-A3, A8-A9 (1.45V)

Not sure this is accurate or not.

Edit: A5-A6 is 1.5v, not .50v as the picture shows.

Setting the Lin-Lin adapters to 133Mhz fsb shows the correct CPU speed now, but the fsb is still displayed as 215Mhz. Oh well.

Can also POST at stock voltages with the 140Mhz fsb setting in the BIOS.

I'll post some more pics later. Just trying to decide on what cards I want to go in this thing...

I plan on setting it up as a DOS/Win98/Win2000 or XP machine.

Maybe a Quadro FX 3000 for the video card? I've got a Dell one that has the power circuitry layout that looks a lot closer to the FX5950 Ultra and a PNY that is has the standard power circuitry layout.

One of the PCI sound cards will be a Yamaha SW1000XG.
ISA sound card I am not 100% sure but it will be for DOS.
Another PCI sound card will probably be an Audigy 2ZS.

Case is going to be an old black Antec that will have plenty of airflow to keep the video card cool.

Its fun to play with dual PIII just to see if multi thread will give enough umph to run some more modernish software on XP. But to be still be so limited by CPU speed in single thread and no SSE2 theres a limit to how far it goes. I think the FX5950 even though its not that fast will still be bottlenecked by the CPU. Need somthing like 3ghz p4 to push that GPU to the max potential.

Oh, I know the CPU bottleneck.

On Win98 SE, the 5950 is bottlenecked up to 3.2-3.3Ghz on a Core 2 Extreme 6800.

I may not even keep this board/CPU combo in the end but do want to see what it can do.
