already running, joystick: ms sidewinder pro (windows xp, joystick
enabled and visible / ok),

Oookay: i am owning lots of pcs in all variations (from 2 mhz to XXX,
a small EDV musuem (private) : commodore, Atari, etc. etc) and lot
of dos-gams.

everything working just fine: BUT:

RED BARON

No Joystick at all available, under the menuoptions no joystick
will be selectable...

Strike Commander: (Floppy AND CD Version)
==========================================
calibrate Joytick every time: left / right still works fine - but up/down
just baaaaaaarely (just barely noticable)

System: on this pc: Athlon 3000+, XP, all new drivers, clean
system (28 tasks running), 2GB, etc

any ideas how to play my favorite dos games RB & SC ?
