Hello Folks,
please anybody has a pinout for MoBo PC CHIPS M726 / Bxcel PC100 Slot1, on-board, so called "ATX FORM CARD CONNECTOR" ? That thing is probably not easy to purchase from anywhere and I was wondering to connect PS/2 mouse directly to the header pins. On otehr site suggests that it should be identical as on some Asus boards, but that pinout did not work for me. I am getting power to the mouse, but it does not respond and win98 says no mouse found. I tried to swap CLOCK and DATA either way but no difference. Or maybe it would not work without that card connector by direct connection, as it seems that this card connector has some additional smd passive components like resistors/smd caps etc? Anybody has experience or with similar board? Or if anyone in europe has compatible atx form card connector he could sell? Thank you.

Have you looked here ? Re: Atx form cards

Thank you for the link. Well, I see I had good diagram... Meanwhile found this in polish language (could be translated) - maybe helps to someone who has time to manufacture its own atx form card:
https://jacek.unixstorm.org/elektronika/atx-form-card.html
Strange is that I have these pins connected correctly direct to the ps/2 mouse connector and nothing.... (in bios ps2 mouse is enabled). Mouse has power and lights up, but win98 says no mouse connected and cursor is dead.... Therefore I thought maybe connector header is tailored for that atx form card and will not work without it as it has additional passive components.... I am lost now... 😀 Sorry for stupid question, if...., but does it has something to do with a fact, that my MoBo is hybrid at/atx and is currently installed with AT Power supply case?

No.

Did you enable the PS2 mouse support in the bios ?

Right to repair is fundamental. You own it, you're allowed to fix it.

Yes sir, as mentioned above, enabled in bios. But I found out the problem. The problem is I am an idiot.... I used PS/2 DIN connector with plate which has dupont terminal and four wires, so I repinned them as needed. FOur wires, red, black, white and green... My 17 years activity in automotive electronics and logical thinking told me, that red wire would be +5v, black for ground and rest two clock/data, but whoever constructed this, was thinking differently.... Measured continuity now revealed, that white wire is +5V and red is DATA..... So I had data connected to +5V...... I hope I haven't killed both rodents, one wiht ball, other one infra.... But strange is that infra light at mice was on, when DATA connected to 5V..... I will give it a try with correct pinout later on today....

Sorry, I missed that.

Good you found the problem ! reminds me of the chinese USB cables that often use whatever colors available.
