Has anyone had luck with using the 44 to 40 pin adapters.

I grabbed a msata to 44 pin ide then connected it to the 44 to 40 but it won't see the drive in the autodetect.

Pin 1 is at the opposite end of the 44-pin connector from the power - judging from the red stripe you've got the IDE cable connected the wrong way around.

The connector is keyed though , there's only one way to plug it in.

Also does anyone know how to configure the jumper block for the 44 pin drive?

Like which ones slave which ones master?
