When I turn on my Wyse 8088 cpu 8bit ISA board it produces 6 rapid beeps then 1 beep. There is no video through the trident 9000i graphics card which is configured to work in 8bit mode and confirmed working with another computer. I assumed it was AMI due to the beep pattern, but after dumping the rom it clearly says it is a Phoenix bios.

Anyone know what 6, 1 beeps at startup could mean? It doesn't repeat.

Here at the post codes at startup in order:

I am having a hard time figuring out what it is trying to tell me, so any insights would be helpful.

Thank you, that is what I used to get the descriptions of the codes, but still not getting video and doesn't look like there are any errors. Time to reseat everything and then check voltage on every chip.

I don't see any suitable beep code combination for 6-1 beeps, except (maybe) 3-3-1 beeps, which is described as: CMOS RAM power bad - Replace the CMOS battery or CMOS RAM if possible.

I have already replaced the CMOS.

Progress Update:

I purchased a CGA card.

1. The CGA card turns on (Blank Screen) and nothing else.
2. I used Ruud's Diagnostic rom and everything passes (CGA card confirmed working), except floppy, but I don't have the floppy installed.
3. I used the XTRAM Diagnostic rom and ram passes muster.
4. I purchased a second Wyse Card and it has the same issue.

Not sure how to proceed, but I will keep trying things.
